Connecting to the Modem

Set Up PC IP Addresses

Configure PC with default IP addresses: 192.168.0.2, Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.240, Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1.

Loading the Option File

Download Option File

Log in to iSite and navigate to Option File > Download from Disk to load the configuration file.

Acquiring the Satellite Signal

Calculate Dish Pointing Angles

Calculate estimated dish pointing angles using online tools for azimuth, elevation, and polarization.

Align Antenna Using iSite

Use the iSite 'Antenna Pointing' tool to align the dish and lock onto the satellite signal.

Activating the Modem

Check Transmit Status

Verify transmit status via telnet command 'tx iflDC'. Enable if set to off.
