MULTI-FUNCTION DISPLAY (DOT MATRIX)
Travel information
Press down the D key to display the
travel information 1; travel information
2 and normal mode in sequence. See
examples of display mode for displaying
status.
The maximum average fuel consumption
displayed is 25.5L/100km; after an alarm
is sent by the fuel gauge warning lamp
on the combination instrument, only
three short bars like “---” is displayed for
Driving range.
After the system receives the cruise
control signal, the letters reading
“cruise control” will be displayed on the
multifunction display; or else, nothing
will be displayed.
The instantaneous fuel consumption
will not be shown on the multi-function
display when the vehicle speed is lower
than 30km/h or when the vehicle is
reversing.
Reverse radar distance display
Only the vehicle tail is displayed when
no obstacle is within the detecting range
or the obstacle is more than 1.5m away
from the vehicle tail.
The vehicle tail is displayed and one
level of short bar is lighted when the
obstacle is detected to be 0.60-1.5m
away from the vehicle tail.
The vehicle tail is displayed and two
levels of short bars are lighted when
the obstacle is detected to be 0.3-0.6 m
away from the vehicle tail.
The vehicle tail is displayed, three levels
of short bars are lighted and the buzzer
sounds for a long period when the
obstacle is detected to be shorter than
0.3m away from the vehicle tail.
If the radar system is in failure and
three levels of short bars ash all the
time, please contact the Dongfeng
Franchise Store or IKCO authorized
representatives in time for system
overhaul.
Display of parking brake not
released
When the vehicle speed is higher than
5km/ h and the parking brake is not
released or not released completely,
warning words will prop out on the multi
function display.
As long as the parking brake is released
or the vehicle speed is lower than 5km/h,
the warning words will disappear.
Note:
Do not move the vehicle backwards
any more when three levels of short
bars indicating obstacles at the
vehicle tail are lighted.
