What does it mean when 'F' lights up on the timer display of my IKEA MATMASSIG, and how do I fix it?

If your IKEA Hob displays 'F' on the timer display, it could be due to several reasons: * The overheating protection for the cooking zone is active. To resolve this, deactivate the appliance, remove the hot cookware, and after about 30 seconds, reactivate the cooking zone. The 'F' should disappear, though the residual heat indicator may remain. Let the cookware cool down. * The electrical connection is incorrect, with the hob connected to only one phase. Verify that the appliance is correctly connected to the electrical supply. Consider calling an authorized installer for assistance. * The electronics may be damaged. In this case, contact your IKEA store call center.
