- Press down the coffee switch 7; only one LED (RED) will ash to signal the beginning of a 20-minute
descaling cycle.
- At the end of the cycle the machine will emit a beep and the LED will ash (GREEN) 8.
- Remove the tank and clean it thoroughly; ll it with 1 liter of fresh water (up to the MAX level) 9; empty
out the collection container and place it once again beneath the brew group 10.
- Press down the coffee switch 7; only one LED (RED) will ash.
- After around 5 minutes the LEDs will light up steadily (RED and BLUE) 11 and the machine will emit a
beep.
- Remove the water collection container from beneath the brew group and wash it thoroughly.
- Now the machine is ready for use.
WARNING:
- Should a main power failure occur during the descaling procedure, it will be necessary to repeat the cycle from the start.
- If descaling is not performed as needed, scale build-up may cause malfunctioning not covered by the warranty. It is advisable to
use the descaling agent supplied with the machine 3.
- Do not use vinegar, lye, salt or formic acid because they may damage the machine.
The descaling solution must be disposed of in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
