cleaning and maintenance
The machine and its components must be cleaned at least once a week.
Keep the water in the tank fresh; wash the tank and ll it daily with fresh drinking water.
Do not use ethyl alcohol, solvents, abrasive sponges and/or aggressive chemicals.
To clean the machine, carry out the following steps:
- Switch the machine off and disconnect the plug from the power outlet 1.
- Remove the water tank and wash it under running water 2.
- Empty out the capsule holder and wash it under running water 3.
- Remove the grill and wash it with warm water 4.
- Remove the drip tray and wash it with warm water 5.
- Remove the outer end part Z of the steam wand 6 and wash it under running water
- Wipe the inside part X of the steam wand clean with a wet cloth
Note: when you refit the outer end part of the steam wand, make sure to push it up all the way.
Caution: do not dry the machine and/or it components in a microwave or conventional oven.
