Be sure to save the cover and place it on the camera back each time
you remove the back from your camera body.
2. Connect the camera link cable D from the camera back’s “Link”
connector to the “Link” connector on the Image Bank E.
Note! Use the long “Link” cable.
3. Connect the FireWire cable F between the Image Bank’s FireWire
socket and the computer G.
Note! If you are connecting the Image Bank to a computer (ex. a
laptop computer) which is incapable of supplying sufficient power
to the Image Bank, it will be necessary to mount the battery H as
well or to connect an external power supply unit I - see “Technical
Specifications” on page 49 for details.
4. If needed, attach a strobe lighting system to your camera body for
synchronizing flash and exposure. Make the connection just as you
would using normal film.
5. Switch on the computer G.
6. If you are using a battery press the Image Bank’s On/Off button and
wait until the unit is ready (status indicator = green) - see page 32 for
references.
7. Start the FlexColor application K.
See the “FlexColor Software Reference” manual for instructions about
how to use the software.
