DHW request (if the optional "3-way valve for
external storage tank unit") kit is present.
e main switch (S1) at ON position powers the integrated
P.C.B. which through the relay K2 controls the motor (M) of
the 3-way valve (M30), which functions until the limit switch
opens when the DHW position has been reached.
If the temperature detected by the DHW NTC probe (B2) is
lower than parameter N° 1 "DHW set value" set, the integrated
P.C.B. allows to start the ignition cycle that proceeds in the
same way as in the CH mode.
When the ame has been detected, the fan speed is increased in
a way to immediately reach (if requested) the maximum value
un DHW mode set using parameter N° 24.
Successively, modulation takes place with reference to the
dierence between the DHW set-point temperature plus the
value set using parameter N° 21 and the system ow tempe-
rature detected.
e burner is switched o on reaching the DHW set-point
and the post-ventilation function is activated with duration
of 30 seconds. Successively, the DHW post-circulation fun-
ction is activated for a period of time that can be set using
parameter N° 33.
e re-ignition of the burner for the same request remains
inhibited for a period of time that can be set using parameter
N° 41.
Central heating anti-freeze request.
When the temperature detected by the NTC probe (B1) falls
below 7° C, the integrated P.C.B. gives consent for the acti-
vation of the boiler.
When the temperature detected by the NTC ow probe (B1)
falls below 3° C, the board gives consent for ignition of the
boiler and keeps the generator working with the burner at
minimum output until a boiler temperature equal to 10° C
is reached.

If the temperature detected by the DHW NTC sensor (B2)
falls below 3° C, the board gives consent for ignition and keeps
the generator working at minimum output until the DHW
sensor detects a temperature of 10° C.
During functioning, the water in the primary circuit remains
below 10° C as on reaching this temperature the board switches
the burner o.
"Chimney sweep" request.
is function allows the technician to check the appliance
combustion parameters.
If activated, it forces the boiler to maximum central heating
output (set using parameter N° 22) for 15 minutes.
In this state all adjustments are excluded and only the tempera-
ture safety thermostat (E4) and the overheating limit function
remain active.
To activate the chimney sweep function, press the "MODE"
and "+" keys simultaneously for two seconds. "H" will appear
on the display.
On completion of the checks, deactivate the function by pres-
sing the "+" and "-" keys at the same time for 2 seconds.
