Installing VICTRIX 50 in a cascade.
General features.
e constant research for solutions to save even more energy,
plus a functional use of the heat generators, has resulted in
VICTRIX 50 which is designed also for installation in cascade
by which we mean boilers (up to a maximum of 3) installed in
battery on the same system.
Note: e boilers can be installed outdoors but it is advisable
just the same, for maintenance purposes, checks, etc., to protect
them from the weather (rain, snow, sun, etc.).
e main advantages can be summed up in the following
points:
- high powers can be reached; by installing three boilers in
cascade we can reach a power of 150 kW;
- dimensions and weights are divided; in fact, we are dealing
with compact, lightweight single wall hung generators;
- the overall performance is higher than if only one high power
generator is used;
- lower running costs (estimated to be about 15% less) because
performance is better;
Dimensions and hydraulic kit connections
(optional) with the boiler installed in cascade.
e modular generators, that is, installed in cascade (battery)
with an original Immergas hydraulic manifold kit (optional),
are to be considered one appliance that takes the serial number
(factory number) of the generator nearest the ISPESL safety
devices.
e hydraulic manifolds are equipped with a non-return valve
mounted on the return pipe and system shut-o cocks on the
ow and return pipes of each generator.
e original Immergas hydraulic manifolds can be installed
with the output facing the right or left.
Note: Before closing one or both the system shut-o cocks
(9) the boiler must be switched o.
- greater operating security; by being able to divide between
two or three units, central heating is always active even in the
case, for example, of maintenance on one of the connected
boilers;
- great operating exibility as it is possible to distribute, among
all the boilers, the operating request and sequence which
avoids a speedy deterioration of one boiler compared to all
the others.
Specic hydraulic distribution manifolds must be used for the
hydraulic connection between generators. Burnt ue must be
discharged through suitable couple-on manifolds tted with a
no-return device (damper), so the products of combustion of
a working boiler cannot interfere with the combustion circuit
of other boilers that are o.
As for the hydraulic manifolds, the system is modular also for
the ue manifolds.
