HRC (This program can only be run with the use of a Wireless HR chest strap)

This program is used to keep your heart rate within a certain zone for optimal training; the
program will automatically adjust speed and elevation to keep you within the range you
select.

This HRC program consists of three changeable heart rate goals 65%, 75%, 85%, and one
THR (target heart rate).

User example for 85%, 40 years old person: 220 bpm – 40 years old = 180
180 x 85% = 153 bpm for 85% of Max theoretical HR.

1. Your are required to enter age(default: 30; range:13-80),then press key to
continue to input target HR(default value will pop up automatically according to the
age you enter) and exercise time(default: 20:00,range: 20-99min). Then you can
press key to start the program.
If you want to revise the setting, press key to revert to default or press
key to directly return to start/ready status.
2. After starting HRC program, the treadmill runs with the speed of 1.6 kph (1 mph),
incline 0. Every 10 seconds, the program will increase or decrease speed according to
the actual heart rate. If heart rate is lower than setting value, the speed will be
increased by 0.5 kph (0.3 mph). If heart rate is higher than setting value, the speed will
be decreased by 0.5 kph (0.3 mph). If the speed has increased continuously for 10
times, the incline will ascend by 1 step. If the speed has decreased continuously for 10
times, the incline will descend by 1 step. The max speed is 20-25 kph (12.5-15.6 mph).
The max incline is 15 levels.
3. “NO PULSE” will be indicated on the screen when heart rate is not detected. If heart
rate is not detected continuously for 45 sec, the treadmill stops and automatically
returns to start/ready status.
This chart shows AGE and Pulse Values (default value) for HRC function.
