If the daily wire rope inspection shows a problem with the wire rope, the rope must be repaired or
replaced. Use only original wire rope from IMT
. Failure to do so may cause problems with the anti-two
block system and the downhaul weights.
2-6-4: WIRE ROPE REPLACEMENT
Replace wire rope when any of the following conditions exist.
