DISMANTLING INSTRUCTIONS
Safety Notes
1. Before carrying out any work ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the mains
supply.
2. Carry out insulation resistance, continuity and functional tests on the appliance after
service.
3. Personal safety precautions must be taken to protect against accidents caused by sharp
edges on metal, glass and plastic parts.
A) Hob Top
1. Disconnect the hob from the electricity supply.
2. Lift the hob top clear and lay it face up on a protected flat surface.
3. Remove the 8 hob top fixing screws.
4. Remove the hob glass, lift away and lay it on a suitably protected flat surface. Fig. 1
NOTE: - The flat surface must be free from sharp edges to avoid damage to the glass.
B) Induction Plate (Element)
1. Remove the hob top as in A).
2. Remove the 2 screws securing the faulty plate.
3. Lift and turn the plate over to access the
electrical conceitedness and 2 pin connector on
the rear.
