Installing Base Using Flexible ISOFIX Lower Anchorage Connectors (LAC)
ISOFIX Compatible Restraint

Step 4:
Locate the ISOFIX and Top Tether anchorage point.
Place the Base in that seating position (refer Figure 1)
and unfold the ISOFIX compartment cover.
Pull out the exible ISOFIX Lower Anchorage
Connector (LAC) straps (refer Figure 2) and fully
lengthen the exible LAC straps.
Feed the LAC straps through the base (refer Figure 3)
and insert the exible LAC straps into the ISOFIX lower
anchorage point. You may need to ‘PUSH’ into the
seat bite where the ISOFIX symbols indicate. Give a
‘PULL’ to check for positive engagement (refer Figure 4).
NOTE:
It may be easier to use the lengthened LAC straps, and
move the Base away from the seat back to give better
access to the ISOFIX anchors (refer Page 24).

• Consult the car owner’s handbook for the location of the ISOFIX anchorages
• Consult the car owner’s handbook for the location of the top tether anchorage points.
If there is no child restraint anchor tting or child restraint anchor point refer to Page
46-47 for the installation of the anchor tting.
