  If the green lamp is on, and the identification indicates Pirani-only mode with a measuring signal continually above 4.0 V, it could be due to: * The cold cathode discharge not igniting. Wait for the gas discharge to ignite. Note that in case of contamination with insulation layers, the cold cathode may completely fail to ignite. * The MPG has only been activated with p < 3×10—9 mbar. Try slightly increasing the pressure.
