Certain gauges can be activated by different means.

S-ON I
S-ON HAND I  Manual activation:
The gauge is activated by pressing the
key.
S-ON HOTSTART I  Hot start:
The gauge is automatically activated when
the VGC50x is turned on. Measurement is
thus automatically resumed after a power
failure. Gauge deactivation →  48.
S-ON CH 1 I
(VGC502/503 only)
 By channel 1:
The subsequent parameter T-ON is used to
specify the switch-on threshold. The sensor
is switched on when the pressure on chan-
nel 1 falls below the switch-on threshold.
S-ON CH 2 I
(VGC502/503 only)
 By channel 2:
The subsequent parameter T-ON is used to
specify the switch-on threshold. The sensor
is switched on when the pressure on chan-
nel 2 falls below the switch-on threshold.
S-ON CH 3 I
(VGC503 only)
 By channel 3:
The subsequent parameter T-ON is used to
specify the switch-on threshold. The sensor
is switched on when the pressure on chan-
nel 3 falls below the switch-on threshold.
Definition of the ON threshold for the gauge to be activated by a gauge connected
to the other measurement channel.
This parameter is only available if the sensor activation parameter is set to
S-ON CH 1, CH 2 or CH 3 (VGC503 only).

e.g.: T-ON 100 I  The sensor is switched on when the pres-
sure on the respective channel falls below
the switch-on threshold.
Value T-OFF must be ≥ T-ON .
