Windows XP USB Download and Installation
When you plug the computer cable into the VESA connector on a computer, Windows XP automatically detects and installs USB
drivers for the keyboard and composite device. It is only when you plug in the USB cable so you can use the LP130 remote
control to emulate the Page Up and Page Down keys on the computer that you need to install the Windows XP drivers. You
need only to follow the Found New Hardware Wizard to complete the driver installation process. It starts automatically when
Windows XP you plug in the USB cable.
Store the file you download your computer's hard drive or on a floppy disk. You'll need access to it when you set up the
computer for use with the LP130.
Note that you need to install the driver once on each laptop or desktop PC you use with the LP130.
NOTE The file you download is called ProjMgr-v1x-Drvrs.exe. This file serves as an upgrade for the Projector Manager
application and as the source for USB drivers for Windows XP. The download and installation procedure is the same for both.
You do not need to install Projector Manager to have USB connectivity. However, if you already use Projector Manager, you
need to install the drivers so that you can use it with Windows XP.
To download the Windows XP USB drivers
1. In the Software Download page
, click the Download Now button next to the Windows XP USB
Drivers.
The File Download dialog box appears.
NOTE By default the File Download dialog box includes a message warning you that you are about to download a
potentially damaging file. You can ignore this message.
2. Click Save.
The Save As dialog box appears.
3. Navigate to the location where you want to save the file, then click Save.
