7 If you’re installing a new controller ECA, remove the I/O EMI shield (see page 39).
WARNING! Once you remove the DMD stiffener and controller ECA from the projector, the DMD and
elastomer float loose in the opening on top of the optical engine. Take extreme care not to
dislodge the DMD or elastomer. If the DMD is damaged, the optical engine must be
replaced. See page 62 for information about reinstalling a DMD.
