USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
The wash tub
does not fill with
water.
This is normal. • Front load washers do not require
the tub to fill with water like
top-load washers.
My washer pauses
or has to be
restarted, or the
washer door is
locked and will
not open.
The pump is clogged. • See Cleaning the pump filter
on
page 36 on how to clean the pump
filter.
You can’t open the door if
your washer is running.
•Press the Start/Pause button
for three seconds. When the
washer drum has stopped, open
the door and add clothing. Close
the door, then press the
Start/Pause button again to restart
the load.
Note: Don't use the pause function when the
water surface is over the edge of the inner tub or
when the temperature is too hot.
• If the door is locked when your
washer isn’t running, unplug the
power cord, then plug it back in.
The door unlocks
or when I press
the
Start/Pause
button my washer
doesn’t operate.
This is normal. • Front-load washers start up
differently than top-load washers,
and it takes 30 seconds to check
the system. During this time, the
door will lock and unlock
automatically.
Incorrect operation. • Open and close the door firmly,
then press the Start/Pause
button.
Water does not
enter my washer
or enters slowly.
Automatic system
self-checks.
•After Start/Pause is pressed,
your washer does several system
checks. Water will normally flow 60
seconds after Start/Pause is
pressed.
Water supply is turned off. • Turn on the water supply.
Water supply hose screens
are clogged.
• Turn off the water source and
remove the water supply hoses
from the back of your washer. Use a
brush or toothpick to clean the
screens in your washer. Reconnect
the hose and turn the water back
on.
