Assembly Instructions: Initial Steps

Step 1: Power Disconnection

Crucial step to turn off electrical power at the main fuse or circuit breaker before starting assembly.

Step 2: Mounting Bracket Installation

Instructions for attaching the mounting bracket securely to the ceiling outlet box.

Step 3: Motor Screw Removal

Remove ten motor screws from the motor underside for blade arm installation.

Step 4: Downrod Preparation

Remove downrod clip and pin, loosen set screws at the top of the yoke.

Assembly Instructions: Downrod Installation

Step 5: Wire Feeding

Feed wires through the yoke cover, canopy, and downrod.

Step 6: Downrod Assembly

Insert downrod into yoke, reinstall pin/clip, retighten set screws. Trim excess wire.

Step 7: Mounting Bracket Engagement

Lift downrod into bracket, aligning tab and slot to prevent rotation and ensure safety.

Assembly Instructions: Wiring & Blades

Step 8: Wire Connections

Connect fan wires to supply wires (white to white, black/blue to black, green to ground). Note for separate light switch.

Step 9: Canopy Securing

Align canopy J-slots with bracket screws, rotate, and secure with screws. Tighten all.

Step 10: Blade Screw Insertion

Partially insert three blade screws with washers through blade into blade arm. Tighten middle screw first.

Step 11: Blade Arm Attachment

Install blade arms to motor underside using previously removed motor screws. Secure each arm fully.

Assembly Instructions: Light Fixture

Step 12: Fitter Plate & Light Pan

Align light pan slotted holes with fitter plate screws. Turn clockwise and secure with screws.

Step 13: Light Kit Connection

Connect 9-pin connectors from light pan to light kit. Secure light kit with light pan screws.

Step 14: Bulb Installation

Install bulbs into the light kit sockets. Allow bulbs and kit to cool before replacing.

Step 15: Light Cage Attachment

Remove finial, place light cage over threaded rod, and secure with finial.

Final Assembly & Operation

Step 16: Pull Chain Extensions

Attach pull chain extensions to the pull chains. Installation is complete. Turn on power.

Operating: Reverse Switch

Use reverse switch for summer (downward airflow) or winter (upward airflow). Must be fully left or right.

Operating: Fan Speed Control

Control fan speed with pull chain: HIGH (1 pull), MEDIUM (2), LOW (3), OFF (4). Light controlled separately.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Problem: Fan Does Not Start

Check wall switch, circuit breakers, wire connections, and forward/reverse switch position.

Problem: Fan Is Noisy

Ensure screws are snug, wire connectors aren't rattling, and avoid variable-speed controls.

Problem: Fan Wobbles

Check mounting bracket, blade/arm screws, and consider blade balancing or interchanging blades.

Problem: Light Does Not Work

Check connectors, blue wire connection, bulb wattage, and faulty bulbs.
