      The Intex Swimming Pool Pump motor may fail to start due to several reasons: it might not be plugged into a 3-wire outlet protected by a Class A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter; the circuit breaker may need resetting (and if it repeatedly trips, an electrician should check your electrical system); the GFCI circuit breaker may have tripped and need resetting; or the motor may be too hot, requiring cool-down time.

      Slow water flow in your Intex Swimming Pool Pump can occur if the inlet or discharge is clogged (clear obstructions in the intake hose), there's an air leak on the intake line (tighten hose nuts, check hoses, and water level), scale or buildup is on the cartridge (clean it more often), the pool is excessively dirty (operate the filter longer), the filter cartridge is dirty (clean it more often), or the nozzle and strainer connection are reversed (install the nozzle at the upper position of pool inlet, and the strainer at the lower position of pool outlet).
