What to do if Intex Krystal Clear 602G filter motor fails to start?
    • J
      Julia MyersAug 18, 2025
If your Intex swimming pool pump filter motor isn't starting, there could be a few reasons. First, ensure the filter cord is plugged into a 3-wire outlet protected by a Class A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, or RCD. If it still doesn't work, reset the GFCI/RCD circuit breaker. If it trips repeatedly, there might be an electrical defect, so turn off the breaker and call an electrician. Also, the motor might be too hot; if so, let it cool down.

Why Intex Krystal Clear 602G doesn’t pump water or flow is very slow?
    • J
      Jesse SmithAug 21, 2025
If your Intex swimming pool pump isn’t pumping water or the flow is very slow, it could be due to several reasons. Check for clogged inlet or discharge and clear any obstructions in the intake hose by discharging it inside the pool wall. Also, inspect the intake line for air leaks by tightening hose clamps, checking the hoses for damage, and ensuring the pool water level is adequate. Scale or buildup on the cartridge can also cause this issue, so replace the cartridge. Additionally, clean the cartridge more often if the pool is excessively dirty. Finally, make sure the nozzle is installed at the upper position of the pool inlet and the strainer at the lower position of the pool outlet.

      Brian MillerAug 23, 2025
If your Intex swimming pool pump isn’t working, several things could be wrong. Check that the water level is correct and fill the pool if it’s low. Clean the strainer screens at the pool inlet, as they might be plugged up. Inspect the intake hose for air leaks and tighten the hose clamps, checking for any damage. Also, clear any sticks or leaves in the intake hose, as the impeller might be jammed. Finally, open the release valve at the top of the pump in case there’s an air lock inside the cartridge chamber.
