Spa Control Unit Installation
1. Press the button located on top of the control base andremovethebackcover(see drawing 9)
2. Connectthespacontrolunittothespatub(see drawing 10). Hand-tighten the connectors securely.
Donotusetoolstotighten.
3. Reinstallthebackcover (2) to the spa control base (see drawing 11). Backcovermustbeinstalled
beforeusingtheSPA.
CAUTION: Donotsit,lean,coverorplaceanyobjectsoverthespacontrolunit.
4. Attachthetwoltercartridgehousingassembliestothetwooutlet
gridsontheinsideofthespa(lowerposition,marked“C”).
ATTENTION! Inordertocomplywiththerequirementsofthe
VirginiaGrahameBakerAct,suctionoutletscannotbecovered
whilethespaisinuse.TheActwasintendedtoaddresshigh
suction/volumecirculationsystemsbutdoesnotexcludelow
volumesystemsasusedonthisspa.Accordingly,removethelter
cartridge assemblies and any other spa cleaning attachment from
the spa outlets before spa usage (see drawing 12).
Re-attachthemafterusageforwaterltrationandcleaning.
5. Beforellingwithwaterensurethebottomdrainvalvecapsare
securely closed on the inside and outside.
6. FillthespatubwithfreshwatertoalevelbetweenMINandMAX
markedontheinsideofthespawall.Donotoverllthespa.
. WARNING: Neverpourwaterwithatemperaturehigherthan104°F(40°C)intothespadirectly.Itis
recommendedtollthespatubwithlukewarmwaterforquickheatingandenergysaving.
7. Placethespacoverandspaairbladder(pre-installedinspacover)overthespatub,andmakesurethe
spacoverbucklesarelockedusingthekeyprovidedafterpullingthebuckledstrapstight.
IMPORTANT:Inspectthespacoverregularlyforleak,prematurewearandtearordeterioration.Never
useadamagedspacover.
8. Turnontheheateronthespacontrolunitsee“SpaControlUnitPanel”operatinginstructionssection.
Theheatingsystemiscapableofincreasingthewatertemperaturebyapproximately2-3ºF(1-1.5ºC)
per hour.
