prevent dosing chemicals when there is no ow in the
circulaon piping.
c. Prior to installaon, the controller operaon can be
tested by lng the populated mounng board unl the
controller’s green light turns on (ow switch magnet at the
switch’s top).

7. Hidden Features
a. The Up/Down buons can be locked out to prevent
unauthorized changes to the sengs. There is a hidden
buon behind the “0” in IPS-M820 on the front overlay.
Place the M820 into standby mode and then press and
hold the hidden buon for 2 seconds, unl the display
indicates “Loc On” and the Up/Down keys do not operate.
All other feature buons will work to display current
sengs. Turn the lock o by holding the hidden buon
down for 2 seconds unl the display indicates “Loc O”.
b. The M820 can be forced to manually dose pH, ORP1, or
ORP2 by placing the M820 into the standby mode that
is desired (pH, ORP1, ORP2), and then holding down the
Dose Time buon and pressing the Delay Time buon. The
M820 will dose for the me set in the dose me seng
(med-feed only).
