Calibration Completion
Press MODE once to display “CAL GO NO”. Press ↑ to GO. Press ENT to start
calibration operation. A message “COMPLETED” indicates the procedure is completed.
If “ABNORMAL” is displayed the calibration must be completely repeated.
Analog Output
The Ultimax is equipped with a 0-1 Vdc analog output. This output can
be scaled to have a span narrower than the full-scale span of the instrument.

Programming the Span, Analog Output
Press ON/OFF while holding MODE to turn on power. Press MODE once to obtain
output temperature screen “OH XXX”. Use the → and ↑ key to set the values desired.
Press ENT once to store values. Press MODE once to get minimum value “0 XXX”.
Using the ↑ and → keys select low scale value. Press ENT to store the value. Turn off
the unit. Restart and 0-1 V output is within the scale or span set.
Instrument Maintenance
Low Battery
This marker shown on the display indicates the power is too low for the best operation.
Install new AA batteries and observe the polarity.
Abnormal Temperature
If the temperature inside of the instrument becomes abnormal ( lower than 0°C or
greater than 55°C) the external display shows ERROR on the upper right hand corner.
Cleaning
Clean the lens and eye piece with a soft cloth. Do not use chemicals to clean any lens
surface.
