Initializing Disk

1 . After connecting the product to the USB jack of
your PC using the USB cable, run Windows Media
player 11.
2. After selecting [iriver clix], click the right mouse
button and select [Format], Click [OK] when the
message
to
confirm initialization appears.
3. The initialization process is completed and the
product is disconnected from your PC.
You need
to
backup the necessary files before
initialization as formatted files cannot be recovered.

Upgrading Firmware
|
1 . After connecting the product to the USB jack of
your PC using the USB cable, visit iriver web-site
to download new firmware upgrade file.
2. Copy the file to the iriver clix and disconnect the
cable to activate the upgrade process.
Do not disconnect the product from PC while copying
firmware upgrade file.
When
you
are
using
Windows Media Player
11,
use
[iriverFirmwareUPdater] in the installation CD for
more convenient firmware upgrade.
