Do you have a question about the Isotherm Classic Compact 2013 and is the answer not in the manual?
Ensure all circuits are off before opening panels. Disconnect shore power and turn battery switches off. Follow ABYC standards.
Mount compressor in a well-ventilated area. Inlet vent at bottom, outlet at top for convection. Ensure adequate space for compressor.
Ensure good electrical installation for minimal voltage loss. Use dedicated circuit, correct wire gauge, and tinned cable.
Connect evaporator and compressor/condenser couplings. Keep clean and dry. Hand-tighten, then use wrenches.
Thread by hand, then tighten female fitting with a 1/6 to 1/4 turn using wrenches to ensure a leak-proof joint.
Turn on the circuit. Compressor should start within 30 seconds. Fan starts shortly after. Evaporator begins to frost.
System activates on compressor overload or failure to start. Also on battery under/overcharging.
Compressor shuts off below 10.3V and restarts at 11.5V to prevent battery damage.
Check power, fuse, connections, and thermostat. Fault may be in electronic unit or compressor.
Possible causes: air leak, condenser dirty, insufficient ventilation, or low refrigerant charge. Contact service agent.
