In the cab, open the door (1) by acting on the hooks (2).

Disconnect the negative cable (1) from the battery by pressing the
quick release (2)red button (→) and pull upwards.

Note: When restoring the connection, check that the negat-
ive cable is fully inserted until a mechanical click is felt).
ENGINE SHUTDOWN
In the event of an accident, the engine may not stop therefore switch the engine off as soon as the vehicle is safe.
The engine can be switched off as described below.
Removing the key
The ignition block is situated on the right of the steering column. Check the following conditions before removing the key:
● Handbrake engaged.
● Mechanical gearbox in neutral position, or in position "N" in the event of automatic gearbox.
