Ringer Volume Control

Button to adjust ringer volume to one of four levels.

[Mute] Key

Key to mute the handset, station, or headset transmitter.

ICM

Internal network for communicating between telephone extensions, connects to intercom line.

Call Park

Press [PARK] button on an outside line to park a call.

Picking up a call in Call Park

Lift receiver and press [PARK] or [PARK PICK-UP] to retrieve parked call.

Transfer to Park

Transfer a call to another user's individual park for remote pickup.

Picking up a call parked on your individual park from your telephone

Lift receiver and press [PARK] to pick up your own parked call.

Picking up a call parked on your individual park from another telephone

Lift receiver, press [PARK], dial extension to pick up your parked call remotely.

Save Dialed Number

Save dialed numbers using [FEAT]+[2]+[1] or [SAVE DIAL] button.

Last Number Redial

Automatically redial the last called number by lifting receiver and pressing [SPEED].

Advanced Features

Call Storage

Capture, store, and display phone numbers and IDs from received calls.

To register a flash to make another call

Make another call on an outside line by dialing + after a call.

Menu Display

IP Telephone Menu Display

Access features via display menu on IP telephones using Menu Buttons and scroll keys.

List Menu

Library of available Enterprise-CS feature codes, scrollable via arrow keys on LCD.

Layer 2 Switch

To use the layer 2 switch:

Connect PC or LAN devices to the IP telephone using specific jacks.

Direct Inward System Access

Operation

External callers access system features via DISA, using message or special dial tone.

To Interrupt the Message

Press + to interrupt the DISA message and hear dial tone.

To make an intercom or hunt group call

Dial extension number or hunt group access code for intercom/hunt group calls.

To access all DISA features:

Access all DISA features by dialing password or extension restriction password.

Answering Machine Emulation (Voice Mail Monitor)

To begin Voice Mail Monitor

Steps to monitor voice mail messages as they are recorded and initiate conversation.

To activate; deactivate or change the Voice Mail Monitor mode:

Press [SPKR] then [FEAT] to activate/deactivate or change voice mail monitor mode.

Busy ICM Callback

Busy Number Callback

To cancel busy number callback

Lift receiver and press [FEAT]+[0]+[2]+[4] or [TRUNK CALLBACK] to cancel callback.

Call Coverage

To answer a call at another extension

Press [CALL COVERAGE] button when Call Coverage tone or green lamp is on.

Stored Text Messages

To select and send a stored text message to another system extension

Send stored text message using [TEXT MSG] + number or [TEXT MSGn].

To display a stored text message

Display a stored text message using [TEXT MSG].

To respond to a stored text message by calling the originating extension

Call the sender of a stored text message by pressing [TEXT MSG] twice.

To delete a stored text message

Press [TEXT MSG] ++ while message key is lit to delete.

Scrolling and Selecting Text Messages

Scroll through available system and personal text messages using arrow keys.

Registering Personal Text Messages

Enter personal text messages using [FEAT]+[TEXT MSG] and dial pad keys.

Busy Bypass;Manual Signaling Text Messages

Send manual signaling or busy bypass text messages to other extensions.

To respond to a busy bypass text message while on a call

Respond to busy bypass text messages on an active call.

To delete a busy bypass text message from your display

Delete busy bypass text messages from your display.

To change the type of indication at your phone

Call Pick-Up

Internal Group

Answer calls ringing at another extension in your pick-up group.

Direct Extension

Answer an incoming call at another extension by pressing [FEAT] or [DIRECT CALL PICK-UP].

Call Recording

To start recording a call to voice mail

Record ICM, outside line, or conference calls to voice mail using [RECORD] button.

To stop recording a call to voice mail

Stop recording calls to voice mail by pressing [RECORD] button or hanging up.

To play a recorded call

Play recorded calls using the same procedure as playing voice mail messages.

Conference

Add-on (up to one outside + three inside parties or four inside parties)

Add parties to a CO or ICM call using [TRAN] and [ADD] buttons.

Multiline (up to three outside + one inside)

Connect up to three outside lines and one inside party.

Trunk-to-Trunk (up to two outside parties)

Connect two outside parties by pressing [HOLD/DND] and hanging up.

Do Not Disturb

To cancel Do Not Disturb

Cancel Do Not Disturb by lifting receiver and pressing [HOLD/DND] button.

Speed Dial

Personal Speed Dial Registration - To register personal speed dial numbers

Register personal speed dial numbers using [FEAT]+[SPEED] and access code.

Personal Speed Dial Registration To register several speed dial numbers

Register multiple personal speed dial numbers by repeating the process.

To register a pause time

Register pause time for speed dialing using [HOLD/DND].

To set an outside line to be selected for speed dialing

Select an outside line for speed dialing using [FEAT]+[SPEED] and group number.

To register a directory name for a speed dial number

Register names for speed dial numbers using dial pad and [HOLD/DND].

Whisper Page

To communicate with a busy extension:

Speak to a busy extension without interrupting their call by pressing the button.

To Respond to Whisper Page

Respond to a whisper page while on a call by pressing the button.

To Respond to Whisper Page with a Text Message

Respond to a whisper page using text messaging procedures.

Personal Ring Tones

To play a ring tone at your system extension

Play a ring tone at your station by pressing [FEAT]+{1-8}.

To select a ring tone for your system extension

Select a ring tone for your station by pressing [FEAT]+{1-8}+.

To restore default ring tone at your system extension

Restore default ring tone by pressing [FEAT]+{0}+.

Exclusive Hold On Outside Line

To retrieve a call on Exclusive Hold

Retrieve an exclusively held call by pressing the same outside line button again.

Flash

After you complete a call or if you make a dialing mistake

Press [FLASH] to get a new dial tone and redial.

To Use Centrex or PBX features

Use [S FLASH] to dial new numbers or feature codes for Centrex/PBX.

Flexible Call Forwarding

Set Forward Destination

Set call forwarding destination by type (all, CO, intercom) and mode (extension, busy, no answer).

Forward Cancel

Cancel call forwarding for specific call types (all, CO, intercom).

Set Active;Inactive

Activate or deactivate call forwarding for specified call types.

Set Follow Me Destination

Hold;Quick Forward Operation

Master Hunt Groups

To Call a Hunt Group

Call a hunt group by lifting receiver, waiting for dial tone, and dialing the access code.

Message Waiting

To Leave a Message

Leave a message for busy/unanswered extension by pressing [MESSAGE] button.

To Cancel Message Waiting

Cancel message waiting by lifting receiver, pressing [MESSAGE] button, and dialing extension.
