● “Stream” checkbox: When the "Stream" checkbox is selected, the encoder will begin
to output a video stream; when it is not selected, the encoder will not output a stream
Note: (1) The function of “Switch” checkbox is the same as the front panel “Stream”
button of the encoder. When the “Stream” button is green, the video stream is output;
when the button is red, the encoder stops output.
(2) Press and hold the ‘Stream’ front panel button for 2 seconds and the ‘Stream’
checkbox will update accordingly on the web GUI in real time.
● "Stream Button" checkbox: When the "Stream Button" checkbox is selected, the
"Stream" button on the product becomes disabled.
● "Multicast to Decoder (Rx)" checkbox: When the "Multicast to Decoder (Rx)"
checkbox is selected, the encoder begins to stream on the Channel designated in the
‘Channel Choose” section of the web GUI; when the "Multicast to Decoder (Rx)”
checkbox is not selected, the encoder stops transmitting video streams on the
corresponding channel.
5) Upgrade Equipment
In the ‘Upgrade’ section of the ‘System’ tab, you can update your encoder’s firmware,
upload new EDID information and change your ‘No Input Signal’ image.
● Firmware upgrade:
Ø Select "Firmware" from the drop-down menu
Ø Click the ‘Browse’ button to locate the firmware file (bin format). After
selecting the correct .bin firmware file, click the ‘Upgrade’ button to apply the
firmware update
Ø You can view the current firmware version in the ‘System Info’ section of the
‘System’ tab, under ‘Version’.
● EDID upgrade:
Ø Select "EDID" from the drop-down menu
Ø Click the ‘Browse’ button to locate the EDID file. After selecting the correct
EDID file, click the ‘Upgrade’ button to apply the EDID update
Ø To view the encoder’s current EDID, enter the device's IP address + / edid.txt in
a web browser’s address bar. (example: 192.168.1.112/edid.txt)
