o Wheel lug torque:
o Front 100 - 120 ft lb (135-162 Nm)
o Rear 40 - 50 ft lb (54 - 68 Nm)
o Tire pressure should be:
o Front 16 - 20 psi (110 - 138 kPa)
o Rear 10 - 12 psi (69 - 83 kPa)
o Steering nut torque 30 - 40 ft. lb. (41 - 54 N.m)
o Traction pedal stop adjustment
o Traction does not creep with pedal in neutral
o Parking brake adjustment
o Operation of all switches
o Function of lift-lower levers
Engine_________________________
Check:
o Engine oil level
o Engine coolant level
o Air cleaner element and connections
o Fuel shut off solenoid linkage for adjustment and
alignment
o Belt adjustment
Cutting Units ___________________
Check:
o All hardware securely fastened
o Blades are in proper location (CW or CCW rotation)
o Blade Mounting Torque
o Centerbolt 75 ft lb (102 Nm)
o Adapter bolts 35 - 40 ft lb (47 - 54 Nm)
o Front Deck Level adjustment
o Decks pivot freely on mounting pins
o Adjust cutting height to customers’ requirements
Electrical System _______________
Check:
o Interlock System (Section 3.2)
o Parking Brake switch
o PTO switch
o Seat switch
o Panel gauges and warning lights
o Mower Limit switch
o For pinched or rubbing wires
Hydraulic System _______________
Check:
o Hydraulic oil level
o For pinched or rubbing hoses
o For twisted or crimped hoses
o For oil leaks
o Tow Valve is in Drive position
Miscellaneous__________________
o Check for loose or missing hardware
o All lubrication points
o Examine paint finish; touch up where necessary
o Check decals. In place and legible
o Make sure Safety & Operation Manual and Parts &
Maintenance Manual are in the pouch
