the safety harness correctly fastened. The
straps should t the child snugly, they must
not be twisted and they should t over the
child’s pelvis (lap belt) and over the child’s
shoulders (body belt).
- Do not make any changes to the restraint sys-
tem; this could put your baby’s safety at risk.
- The restraint system must not be damaged
and must not get trapped by the mobile
parts inside the vehicle or the doors.
- Protect the uncovered parts of the restra-
int system from direct sunlight so that the
baby’s skin does not come into contact with
very hot parts.
- It is very important not to use second-hand
products, as JANÉ can only guarantee the
complete safety of the items when used by
the original buyer.
- For your baby’s correct development it is
advisable to not use the safety seat for pro-
longed periods on lengthy journeys; let the
baby rest regularly in a carrycot or a bed
fully stretched out.
- Failure to follow these instructions carefully
for the correct use of the restraint system
can put your baby’s safety at risk.
- Make sure any companions also know how
to get the child out in the event of an ac-
cident.
