For a machine in constant use, oil two or three times a year.
If the machine does not work smoothly due to standing idle for some time,
apply a few drops of oil at the oiling points, and run the machine rapidly for
a minute.
Wipe excess oil before sewing.
Unscrew and remove the face plate.
Apply a few drops of fine quality sewing machine oil to the points indicated
by the arrows in the illustration.

Remove the two screws and take off the top cover.
Apply a few drops of fine quality sewing machine oil to the points indicated
by the arrows in the illustration.
Lay the machine over on its back and apply a few drops of fine quality
sewing machine oil to the points indicated by the arrows in the illustration.
