Place right sides of fabric
together and seam along
the edge.
Spread the fabric open flat
with the right side of the
fabric facing up.
Sew feather stitch slowly
guiding the fabric so the
needle catches the folded
edge on each side.

When forward and reverse feeds become unbalanced due to
the type of fabric, correct the balance by turning the stitch length
dial as follows:
When patterns are compressed, correct it by turning the dial in
the direction
