Automatic Needle Threader
z Raise the needle to its highest position.
Pull down the needle threader knob as far as it willgo.
q Needle threader knob
w Hook
x Turn the knob in the direction of the arrow as
shown. Insert hook into the needle eye.
Lead the thread around guide and under the hook.
e Threader guide
c Turn the knob in the direction of the arrow in the
illustration, drawing the thread loop through the
needle.
v Pull the thread through the needle eye.
NOTE:
The needle threader can be used with a #11 to #16.
Thread size 50 to 90 should also work well.
Drawing Up Bobbin Thread
z Raise the presser foot and hold the needle thread
with your fingers.
q Needle thread
x Press the Up/down needle position button to
raise the needle to its highest position. Pull the
needle thread to pick up a loop of the bobbin
thread.
q Needle thread
w Bobbin thread
e Up/down needle position button
c Draw 10 cm (4") of both threads to the back under
the presser foot.
