Updating to Jump Thread Trim Mechanism
Replacing the face plate
1. Remove the 2 setscrews (A) and remove the face plate.
2. Attach the new face plate (with a brush) and secure it with
the setscrews.
Removing the tension unit
1. Remove the 3 setscrews (B) and remove the top cover.
2. Remove the 2 setscrews (C) and loosen the setscrew (D),
Remove the belt cover.
3. Remove the setscrew (E) and loosen the 3 setscrews (F) to
loosen the front cover for easy removal of the tension unit.
4. Disconnect the 2 connectors from the board-U. Remove the
2 setscrews (G) and remove the tension unit.
