Replacing the Carriage Unit
To remove:
1. Remove the face cover, bed cover and front cover (refer
to pages 1, 3 and 4).
2. Remove the setscrews (A), (B) and the carriage cover.
3. Remove the setscrews (C), (D), (E) and (F).
Remove the cord binders as necessary.
Unplug the connectors from the printed circuit board A.
Remove the carriage unit.
To attach:
4. Follow the above procedure in reverse.
NOTE:
Adjust the Y-carriage supporter (refer to page 27).
5. Turn the power switch on to move the carriage to the
stored position, then turn the powers switch off.
