[12] Fit the gas
nozzle to the
torch head
NOTE!
The wire don’t used for a long time(more than 3days) need to store sealed.
The recommended electrode for the GMAW process are 0.6 or 0.8mm diameter mild and low alloy
steel spools. General purpose welding wire suitable for the all positional Gas Metal Arc Welding
(GMAW) of mild and low alloy steels, used in general fabrication and for welding of light to medium
gauge sheet and tubular steel sections. Note that a suitable shielding gas is required.
Secure the welding grade shielding gas cylinder in an upright position by chaining it to a suitable
stationary support to prevent falling or tipping.
When no more welding is to be done, turn off the machine.
[5] Fit the correct sized Knurled Driver roller
for Gas wire or Solid Hard wire
Remark:V Groove Drive Roller for Steel Wire
U Groove Drive Roller for Soft Wire
[6] Place wire onto spool holder(spool retaining
nut is top thread) Feed the wire through the inlet
guide tube on to the drive roller
[14/15] Select the correct sized wire
diameter and set the welding parameter
[13] Carefully open the valve of
the gas cylinder, set the flow to
10 L/min
[7/8] Place wire onto spool holder (spool
retaining nut is top thread) Feed the wire
through the inlet guide tube on to the drive
roller
[9] Remove the gas
nozzle and contact tip
from the front end of
the MIG torch
[10] Fit the correct size
contact tip over the
wire and fasten tightly
into tip holder
