FUEL ECONOMY
Fuel economy depends on many factors. Your driving habits can significantly
affect your fuel economy. Some recommendations for achieving maximum fuel
economy are shown:
Keep your tires inflated to the recommended pressures.
Keep your motor home "tuned-up." An out-of-tune engine wastes fuel and
costs you money.
Keep your air cleaner clean and your motor home lubricated according to the
recommendations in this manual and the Chassis Guide.
Do not overload your motor home or tow heavy loads.
EXHAUST GAS FUMES
To avoid breathing exhaust gases, follow these precautions:
Do not run the engine in confined areas, such as a closed garage, any longer
than needed to move your motor home in or out of the area.
Windows should be closed while driving or running the generator (if so
equipped) to avoid drawing dangerous exhaust gases into the motor home.
If you suspect that exhaust fumes are entering the passenger compartment,
have the cause determined and corrected as soon as possible.
WARNING
Avoid inhaling exhaust gases as they contain carbon monoxide, which is a
potentially toxic gas that is colorless and odorless. Refer to Sec. 2 Safety
Precautions, Carbon monoxide alarm.
