at all connections soon after the purchase of your vehicle, and after the initial lling of the
propane tanks.
Continued periodic checks of the propane system at 5,000 miles of travel (or at least once
a year) by a qualied propane service representative as part of your normal maintenance is
recommended. Hand tighten the LP gas system valves only, do not use a wrench or pliers as
over tightening may damage the valve seals and cause them to leak.
The following label should be kept permanently axed to the motor home:
Propane is a true gas compressed into a liquid form. As the fuel is released from the con-
tainer, it changes to vapor which is then used for the operation of the appliances. Propane
will not run through the appliances in the liquid state.
A permanently mounted A.S.M.E. approved propane container is located under the oor of
the motor home.
Propane expands 1½ percent for every ten degrees of increase in temperature. It is impera-
tive to leave sucient space inside the container to allow for natural expansion of gas during
warmer weather.
