4 Remove the four socket head screws 7.
5 Place the pump on the workbench with its regulator
mounting face downwards. Match mark the mating
flanges of pump casing 5 and valve block 8. Separate
the pump casing from the valve block.
6 Remove the piston/cylinder assembly Z comprising
cylinder 9, piston assemblies 10, set plate 11, spherical
bush 12 and cylinder springs 13 from pump casing 5.
Take care not to damage the sliding surfaces of the
components.
7 Pump 1 only:
Remove socket head screws 14 and then remove seal
cover 15 and ‘O’ ring 16, taking care not to damage the
oil seal 17. This task can be simplified by inserting a
pull-out bolt into the tapped hole in the cover.
