GETTING STARTED
POWER SOURCE
This unit operates on 2 ‘AAA’ (UM-4) batteries (not included).
INSTALLING BATTERIES
1. Remove the BELT CLIP (#11).
2. Remove the BATTERY DOOR (#12).
3. Follow the polarity diagram (+ and -) shown in the
battery compartment, and insert 2 'AAA' (UM-4)
batteries (not included).
4. Reattach the BATTERY DOOR (#12) and lock it
in place.
Notes:
• Replace the batteries when the LOW
BATTERY INDICATOR (#16) shows on the
LCD display.
• Turn off the unit before changing the
batteries.
• When changing batteries, the unit will retain
the time and your station presets for 30
seconds. Change the batteries within this 30
second time frame or you will need to reset
the time and all your saved station presets.
• For better performance and longer
operating time, we recommend using
alkaline batteries.
