IMPORTANT NOTE
:
After adjusting the ARMBAND to your arm, make sure it’s a
comfortable fit and not too tight. If the ARMBAND is too tight, it could cut off or
limit circulation during physical activity.
SETTING THE CLOCK TIME
Note: The unit will be in standby mode when you install batteries for the first time. The
display will begin flashing and continue flashing until the time is set.
1. Make sure the unit is off and in standby mode with the time showing on the display.
2. If the unit is on (radio playing in earbuds), press and hold the BAND / POWER
BUTTON (#5) for a few seconds to turn the unit off and place it in standby mode.
3. Press and hold TIME / MEM BUTTON (#2), the hour digits on the display will flash
4. Within seven seconds, press the TUNER
BUTTON (#3) / TUNER
BUTTON (#4) repeatedly until the correct hour is reached.
5. Press the TIME / MEM BUTTON (#2) again and the minute digits on the display
will flash.
6. Within seven seconds, press the TUNER BUTTON (#3) / TUNER
BUTTON (#4) repeatedly until the correct minute is reached.
7. Press the TIME / MEM BUTTON (#2) to confirm the time.
Note:
Make sure the hour is set so that AM or PM is correctly displayed. If the PM
INDICATOR (#21) is showing on the display, the displayed time is “PM”. If the AM
INDICATOR (#13) is showing on the display, the time displayed is “AM”.
RADIO OPERATION
NOTE:
The FM tuner in this unit uses the cord from the earbuds as the antenna, so
it’s important that the earbuds are plugged in and the cord is fully unwrapped and
extended for best reception.
1. Insert the earbuds into the EARPHONE JACK (#1) and press and hold the BAND /
POWER
BUTTON (#5) to turn on the radio.
2. Tap the BAND / POWER BUTTON (#5) repeatedly to select AM or FM.
3. Press and hold the TUNER
BUTTON (#3) / TUNER BUTTON (#4) to
search previous / next available station. If the reception is poor, try Manual Tuning
to fine-tune the station. Tap the TUNER
BUTTON (#3) / TUNER BUTTON
(#4) briefly to manually tune through the frequency band.
4. Adjust the VOLUME
+
BUTTON (#9) / VOLUME
–
BUTTON (#10) to obtain the
desired sound level.
5. Press the BASS BUTTON (#8) to enhance the bass effect of the music being
played. Press the BASS BUTTON (#8) again to turn the effect off.
6. Press and hold the BAND / POWER
BUTTON (#5) to turn off the unit when
finish listening. The unit will display the time.
Notes:
•
When in radio mode, the display will automatically switch back to show the time
after a few seconds.
•
When listening to the radio, you can check the frequency of the station you are
listening by tapping the TUNER
BUTTON (#3) / TUNER BUTTON (#4)
once. The unit will automatically switch back to show the time after a few seconds.
