      perkinsrebekahSep 8, 2025

What to do if my Jet-tech Dishwasher overflows?
    • K
      Kari SimmonsAug 22, 2025
If your warewasher is overflowing, the drain outlet hose may be kinked or blocked; straighten or unblock it. Also, the drain pump might be blocked or defective; call for service to address this issue, keeping in mind that blockages due to food or debris are not covered under warranty. High incoming water pressure could also be the cause; if it's above 3 BAR, a Pressure Reducing Valve must be installed. Excessive suds from non-commercial detergent can also cause overflow. If this happens, turn off the washer, drain the wash tank, remove as much suds as possible, and run the unit without the overflow pipe for 2-4 minutes before refilling.

      Scott SmithSep 1, 2025
If the pilot lamps on your Jet-tech Washer aren't illuminating, start by checking the power switch to ensure it's properly connected and not defective; replace if necessary. Verify that power is reaching the machine by checking the breaker and electrical connections. The door micro switch may be misaligned, so adjust or replace it as needed. Other potential issues include a defective timer, momentary relay, or wash cycle button; replace these components if necessary. Also, check the pilot lamp connections and replace the lamps if faulty. Finally, verify the thermostats, as both may be defective.
