7- Machine work speed adjustment
See on page 9 the speed ratio to operate the JF 40P. To have diferent speeds in this zone. Its
necessary change the pulleys combination, that is, use diferents diameters.
The formulas below will help you to discover which diameter is better to each pulley,
according the desired speed.
Example of formula aplication
Machine pulley diameter = 195 mm
Motor pulley diameter = ? (this measure will be calculated)
Speed desired to the machine = 2.500 rpm
Motor’s speed = 2000 rpm (this value is an example, because it depends on the power)
2nd Formula: ?* = 195 mm x 2.500 rpm
2.000 rpm
* In this example, the pulley assembled on the motor shaft should be a diameter or 244 mm.
