LOW PASS (LP) FILTER: By setting the LP (Low Pass Filter) crossover
adjustment selector to position X1, the l o w pass input lter setting can
be varied between the xed frequency values of 60Hz, 80Hz, 120Hz,
220Hz, 500Hz, 900Hz, 1.2kHz and 2kHz, determining the end of the
frequency range in which the amplier will operate. By changing the LP
crossover setting selector to position X10, the low-pass input lter setting
can be varied between the xed frequency values of 600Hz, 800Hz,
1.2kHz, 2.2kHz, 5kHz, 9kHz, 12kHz and 20kHz.
5.3. DYNAMIC BASS BOOST
Bass Boost is a setting that raises the gain of the subwoofer's specic
sub-bass frequency range, xed at 63Hz. The gain applied to the Bass
boost determines the gain of the sub-bass reinforcement to be applied to
the audio, from 0dB to +6dB at the frequency above.
This gain is dynamically adjusted by the internal DSP based on the
amplitude of the input signal and the LEVEL level applied to the input
signal, which helps to avoid very sharp deections of the membrane,
increasing the life of the speaker and ensuring a strong, full-bodied bass
at all times.
