2. INSTALLATION SAFETY
• Installation should always be carried out by a qualied professional.
• Before starting the installation, always read the instruction manual
carefully.
• The amplier must be installed in a rm, ventilated and dry place.
◦ Install away from the fuel tank and fuel lines. fuel, heat sources
and other sensitive parts of the vehicle.
• The outer surfaces heat up during use.
◦ Avoid contact with the heat sink area;
◦ Keep children away from the amplier.
• RCA cables should be installed separately from the vehicle's original
wiring and away from any other power cables to avoid interference.
• All connections should only be made with the amplier switched
off.
• Make sure that the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery is
• turned off.
• The output connections for the speakers may have high levels
• voltage when the amplier is operating or shortly after operation.
• Always observe carefully:
◦ The polarity of the power supply wiring (positive and negative
of the battery).
◦ The polarity of the speakers,
◦ The minimum impedance of the amplier in relation to the
◦ speakers used
• Fuses must be installed to protect against overloads.
◦ The fuse or circuit breaker used must be installed as close as
possible to possible from the battery. It must be sized according
to the power of the amplier.
• Use the minimum cable gauge as specied.
◦ Using the correct cable gauge is extremely important to obtain
the desired power from the amplier and for safety reasons.
Using gauges smaller than the specications causes loss of power
and overheating of the cables.
