4.1. CONNECTIONS AND CONTROLS
JFA's AP400X4, AP800X4 ampliers have thermal and short- circuit
protection systems on the audio output.
The thermal protection will act if the temperature of the heatsink
reaches very high levels, disconnecting the audio signal from the outputs.
If this happens, turn the unit off and wait for the temperature to return to
safe levels. This protection is not triggered if the amplier is correctly
installed in a cool, ventilated area.
Short-circuit protection acts if an impedance lower than that
supported by the outputs is detected, switching off the audio outputs.
5. OPERATING MODES OF THE FUNCTIONS
5.1. JFA SMART LED
It is located below the JFA logo and is responsible for informing the
user of the JFA amplier's operating status. It lights up when the remote
control connection is received, indicating that the amplier is in operation.
It also indicates when audio adjustments have been made by ashing
twice.
