15 INSTALLATION
To install the central unit, choose a discrete location, out of the view of strange persons, and
attach it to the wall. All the wiring used for the installation of sensors and sirens must be welded
on the splices.
To install the sensors on doors and windows, one must take care that the distance between the
magnet and the sensor does not surpass 5 mm. When installing an infrared sensor, verify if the
location does not have an opening through which animals may enter, given triggers may occur.
The infrared sensor must not be installed facing glass doors and walls, plants such as ferns, and
locations with great air circulation.
