JOBO's 3000 Series Film Drums are de-
signed for sheet film processing on Autolabs
and CPP-2 or CPA-2 processors with JOBO
Lift. Sheet film in sizes from 6x9 cm to 8x10"
can be processed in this range of drums.
Loaders are not needed to properly insert the
film into these drums. Low-profile ribs and guides
hold the film in place. Positions are permanently
set for specific sheet film formats in each drum
for proper development.
Processing recommendation:
Rotation speed on JOBO processors should be
set at 50 rpm on Autolabs, and approximately 4-
5 on the speed control dial of CPP-2 or CPA-2
manual processors.
For black and white film we recommend a 5 min.
pre-rinse with tempered water. In general the
standard processing times, temperatures,
capacities and process steps are otherwise the
same as used in manual processing techniques,
following chemical manufacturers' instructions.
As always, it is best to make a test run prior to
processing valuable images. Films with mat back
coatings cannot be processed in the Film Drums
3012 - 3025.
Note: Do not pour wetting agents or stabilizer
into the film drum. Use a separate container for
these final steps.

or with foot pump no. 3360.

Place the cog lid on top and press down firmly
to be sure the lid is securely and evenly
attached. This is important for reliable and
smooth rotation of the drum.
Loading the drums
In the dark, load the sheets of film with the
emulsion side facing the center of the drum.

Tank 3021*
This tank has been designed for use on
ATL 1000 / 1500. The red sealing ring (cog lid
washer) must not be used with the ATL 1000 /
1500. It can damage the processor and/or cause
processing flaws.
Note:
When operating the tank no. 3021 on a manual
JOBO Lift or an ATL, the red sealing ring (cog
lid washer) must be used in the cog lid to prevent
chemical leakage.
