� Pickup the insert holding the sheet film, curl, and slide into the drum body.
(The interior of the drum has ridges running the length of the drum -- ignore
these for this application). Replace the drum lid and press down evenly
around the entire circumference of the lid to make sure it's seated properly.
� After processing, use the #3360 Footpump to open the lid. The Footpump
was specifically designed to open 3000 series lids. Place the stopper into the
center of the cog lid firmly. Begin pumping by pressing the inflation bulb.
While pumping, keep one hand firmly on the cog lid to prevent it from flying-
off as the pressure builds up in the drum
.
If you prefer not to use the #3360 Footpump, simply grasp the drum lid
around the edge and slowly pull up evenly around the circumference. Do not
attempt to pull from the center of the cog lid -- this may cause damage!
‘ When processing with any 3000 series drum, JOBO recommends a rotation
speed of 50 rpm (or ‘P’ on an ATL-1, CPA-2, or CPP-2). Adjust the level of
the water bath until only the bottom ¼" of the drum is covered with water.
