6. Operating Instructions
IMPORTANT: It is the responsibility of the user to verify the
calibration of the instrument before each use.
Battery Installation
Remove battery door by rotating it counter-
clockwise, and put in two alkaline “AA”
batteries according to the illustrated polarity
requirements, and then install the battery
door by rotating it clockwise.
Note: Used (discharged) batteries are hazardous waste and should be
disposed of properly.
Leveling Base Usage
1. Install the leveling base by screwing the
attachment bolt clockwise into 1/4" thread hole
at the bottom of the instrument.
2. Level the instrument by rotating two leveling screws.
7. Using the Product
Power On/Off
1. Press power switch to project laser line or dot.
2. Press power switch again to shut off laser output.
Switch Between Laser Dot and Laser Line
Turn the mode conversion knob to switch between laser line and
laser dot. Rotating the wedge lens up or down converts the laser
